Undergraduate Division - Public Health
The Undergraduate Division offers a major and minor.Health education is becoming increasingly accepted as an effective and economically useful tool for promoting positive health behaviors among people. Despite the vast array of preventive, therapeutic and rehabilitative facilities developed by medical science, human health continues to depend largely on translating knowledge into individual behaviors and lifestyles. Education designed to encourage appropriate health behaviors can effectively prevent much suffering and disability.
