Career/Internship Tips?
by DSAC
The best advice is to GET OUT THERE! You asked and we listened! Don't just focus
purely on coursework. For a quality learning experience, make every effort
to apply what you're learning in a real-world environment. School
involvement, community service and field placement experiences look great
on resumes so get involved!
It's our first time, so join us! Show your support, and let us
know what you think!
Take the Healthy Climate Pledge
by DSAC
There is a direct connection between climate change and the
health of our nation today. Yet few Americans are aware of the very real
consequences of climate change on the health of our communities, our
families and our children. So sign the pledge at HEALTHY
CLIMATE PLEDGE:
"I/We, the undersigned, pledge to make small changes in
our daily lives during National Public Health Week 2008
as a first step toward improving
the health of the climate, our communities, our families and ourselves.
We can all do more! Reduce, reuse, recycle, drive less, and RIDE
a bike (I ride one every day)! Check it all out at Official Public Health Week.
