Biography:

Dr. Donald Slymen is a Professor in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He received his Ph.D. in Preventive Medicine with a concentration in Biometry in 1983. Prior to coming to San Diego State he worked at the Coordinating Center for Clinical Trials at the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, and at the Arizona Cancer Center of the University of Arizona in Tucson. He has had primary responsibility for shaping the biostatistics program since arriving at the GSPH in 1988.
