Program:Graduate School of Public Health's HP Program on Curricula Integration

Description:Focus on migrant health in San Quentin, Mexico, 5-hour drive from San Diego. PH664 course on Health and Behavior in Human Society makes 15 students create research/service projects collaboratively with medical students from the Universidad Autonoma Baja California (UABC) in Tijuana, Mexico and medical students at UCSD.

Course culminates in a weekend field trip designed to implement a variety of education, research, and healthcare service projects for residents of the "Nueva Era" Colonia, all designed by students in the course. This program has been running for 7 years.
