Program:Seeds of Survival: A Rural Africa Fellowship Program
Sponsor:Earth-Island Institute, a charitable organization
Length:6 months
Location:Africa
Description:Fellows assist local NGO staff with the development of community training and education programs. Fellows will be provided local accommodations and project support by the local NGO, and are responsible for covering their own trip airfare and initial training costs.
Timeline:6-month fellowship program preceded by a month-long training called "Seeds of Survival."

Deadline for application: March

Program starts in June of each year.

Requirements:Fellows must have advanced degree in international health, international development, or a related field. Fellows must have experience in Africa or other developing countries
