Job Title:Survey Worker

This is for 2 Limited Appointment Positions at 40% time.

Spanish speaking is required to conduct phone interviews of participants in research studies. Follow research protocols, explaining study and administering written questionnaires and performing simple body measures. Responsible for maintaining accurate records of interviews and all data collected and assessing the appropriateness of responses. Must be alert to sensitive, personal information and must ensure completeness of data for each interview. Responsible for tracking subjects including follow-up telephone calls, scanning data, mailing questionnaires and recording returned questionnaires in computer database. Will accompany participants to other UCSD clinical sites for laboratory tests. Responsible for obtaining informed consent for research participants.

Requirements:
  • Spanish Speaking is required.
  • Ability to exercise judgment about the appropriateness of responses to ensure survey protocol.
  • Demonstrated experience with data entry on PC computers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Must have access to reliable transportation and be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Compensation:40% of $2,106/month
