| Description: | Get involved in a community-based participatory research project promoting physical activity & a healthy lifestyle among Latinos! The San Diego Prevention Research Center is looking for two part-time Research Assistants to help with the Familias Sanas y Activas research project.
Gain community-based participatory research skills by assisting with:
- recruitment of study participants
- data collection & data entry
- providing information to participants by phone
- implementation of the Familias Sanas y Activas intervention
- following & developing research study protocols

| Requirements: |
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Reliable transportation to travel to field sites in San Ysidro and South Bay
- Completion of sufficient coursework to successfully perform job responsibilities
- Ability to at least 15 hours per week including some evenings and weekends
|
| Compensation: |
- Competitive hourly salary ($10$12)
- Data for senior honorsprojects, masterstheses, and dissertations.
- Opportunity to receive professional or graduate school recommendations
- Course credit can be arranged with a minimum of 10 hours/wk
