Job Title:Part-time Research Assistants
Company:San Diego Prevention Research Center (SDPRC)
Location:San Diego area
Description:Get involved in a community-based participatory research project promoting physical activity & a healthy lifestyle among Latinos! The San Diego Prevention Research Center is looking for two part-time Research Assistants to help with the Familias Sanas y Activas research project.

Gain community-based participatory research skills by assisting with:

  • recruitment of study participants
  • data collection & data entry
  • providing information to participants by phone
  • implementation of the Familias Sanas y Activas intervention
  • following & developing research study protocols
Requirements:
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Reliable transportation to travel to field sites in San Ysidro and South Bay
  • Completion of sufficient coursework to successfully perform job responsibilities
  • Ability to at least 15 hours per week including some evenings and weekends
Compensation:
  • Competitive hourly salary ($10$12)
  • Data for senior honorsprojects, masterstheses, and dissertations.
  • Opportunity to receive professional or graduate school recommendations
  • Course credit can be arranged with a minimum of 10 hours/wk

The Center is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It is a collaboration between SDSUs School of Public Health, UCSDs School of Medicine, and the San Ysidro Health Center.
