Description:	University Health Services at The University of Texas at Austin is accepting applications for a Health Education Coordinator. This position assesses, plans, implements and evaluates health promotion activities for 50,000 students primarily in the area of sexual health and healthy relationships but also in other areas of health promotion. This position creates, provides, and coordinates presentations, workshops, classes, trainings, social marketing/social norms campaigns, screening events, and awareness events. In coordination with UHS staff, the candidate will help determine programming content and methods to meet identified health needs of students, as well as develop, research, and evaluate health-related information in the form of articles, brochures and online materials.
Requirements:	Excellent oral and written communication skills and knowledge of health promotion theory and practice are essential. Extensive knowledge of current and emerging college health issues is also essential. Experience providing sexual health education to college students is strongly preferred. A masters degree in health education/health promotion, public health, social work, psychology or other health-related field and two years related work experience are required. CHES certification preferred.
