Job Title:Research Assistant/Senior Research Assistant

  • Several part-time or full-time independent consulting positions available, effective January 2008
  • Short-term (3 to 6 months or less) or long-term (one or more years) consulting projects available
  • Very flexible scheduling including weekdays, evenings, nights, or weekends
  • Ability to work on-site or remotely (off-site)

Duties:

  • Conduct literature searchhes and summary reviews
  • Conduct web-based seaarches of published sources by content area for research purposes
  • Retrieve references (e.g., peer review articles)
  • Compile data and reports, as necessary (includiing literature retrieval)
  • Research projects, including research findings, as necessary (tables, graphs, spreadsheets, presentations, analysis, gain/loss reports, etc.)
  • Data entry and consolidation
  • Creation off MS Powerpoint slides and other conference presentation materials (e.g., posters and overheads)
  • Schedule and manage loggistics for teleconferences and meetings for both internal/external business
  • Filing, Xeroxing, and client presentations and materials
  • Maintain library of all corporrate research documents, publications, academic/medical journals, literature, publications (e-record for shared use, by category)
  • Support archiving of confidential patient and client data
  • Proofread, edit, and/or format corporate documents and marketing material, as necessary (quality and consistency)
  • Assemble meeting material, presentation and media kits, binders for various projects
  • Various admiinistrative duties
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, graduate student preferred.
  • A minimum of one year experience in a healtth care research setting, preferred.
  • Strong pproficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook), Adobe suite (Photo Shop)—a plus, experience in utilizing onlline research tools (worldwide web)
  • Ability tto work independently as well as work efficiently within a cross-functional team to meet project deadlines.
  • Self-starterr, proactive, professional
  • Strong administrattive and organizational skills required
  • The aability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work with compressed deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player
Compensation:Compensation is commensurate with relevant experience level of applicant and skill set. Compensation range will be between $15/hr to $20/hr or on a fee-for-service basis per assigned project.
