The Homeland Protection and Preparedness Business Unit is seeking a
Masters level statistician or biostatistician who will provide
statistical and analytical expertise for a large Navy Program for Combat
and Operational Stress Control. This opportunity will be located in a
Navy Hospital that will serve as a Premier Center for treatment and care
of individuals suffering from Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder. |
| Requirements: | The statistician will be an experienced professional familiar
with a variety of statistical techniques in order to assess and analyze
clinical research data, and will be able to draw sound conclusions for
inclusion in manuscripts for publication. Experience working in the
field of combat stress, mental health care case management, or previous
military experience desired.

Required Education/Skills: Masters Degree or higher in statistics or
related field or Masters in Public Health with BioStatistics major and
at least 2 years of experience. Must have strong command and working
proficiency performing comprehensive statistical analysis using SAS and
or SPSS.

Desired Skills/Experience: PhD in statistics or related field preferred.
Experience working in the field of combat stress, mental health care
case management, previous military experience or work in the military
health care field. Familiarity with DOD, MHS and TRICARE desired. |
