| Description: | Under general supervision from the Principle Investigator (PI), manage, coordinate and maintain operations of multiple research studies related to medication safety and national educational programs. Use advanced knowledge and skills of health services research methodology, health education/promotion principles, and online technologies to make significant independent contributions to the successful operation and completion of translational research projects. Manage research projects for grant-supported research on medication safety, practice-based research, and medication therapy management. Assist the PI to supervise, teach, train, and evaluate research assistants, residents, professional students, graduate students and post-doctoral scholars. Supervise research personnel and students to ensure compliance with HIPPA requirements. Coordinate study implementation, recruit and interview participants; coordinate studies in clinics, pharmacies, and national organizations; develop and maintain a marketing and advertising campaign for a national education program. Manage and maintain research database; assist in statistical analysis. Develop and produce all protocol submissions, amendments, consent forms, flyers, brochures and other necessary paperwork to meet deadlines required by the Institutional Review Board, Human Research Protections Program, and funding agencies. Make significant contributions to project design, papers, presentations, and grant submissions.

| Requirements: | Earned a Masters Degree in Public Health or equivalent and have over 3 years experience coordinating health research projects. Knowledge and experience with grant applications, IRB regulations, The Human Research Protections Committee. Excellent communication skills. Ability to interact with varied personalities at all levels of the organization, exercising good judgment, diplomacy, and flexibility to promote positive working relationships with colleagues and the community. |
