Job Title:Part-Time Resilience Coach

Location:Coronado, CA
Description:The Part-Time Resilience Coach will assist in creating and leading the delivery of educational programs. Note this is not a clinical position.

  • Deliver (or co-facilitate the delivery of) a standardized curriculum to small and large groups
  • Manage the logistics of educational sessions in collaboration with other staff members
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries with participants, referring to outside resources as indicated
  • Assist in the evaluation of educational programs
  • Assist in creating and implementing new educational programs to meet emerging needs
  • Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:An ambitious, high-energy person who enjoys a fast-paced team environment laced with challenges and opportunities. Good communication and educational/training skills, ability to work independently, resourcefulness to challenges, and attention to details a must.

  • Masters Degree in psychology, education and/or related field required
  • 3 – 5 years experience in human development/social work preferred
  • Understanding of the unique needs of military members and their families, required
  • Professional teaching, facilitation and/or public speaking experience required; experience facilitating psycho-educational workshops, required
  • Demonstrated experience in quickly building rapport with individuals and families dealing with high levels of stress, required
  • Clinical experience or background, preferred, though this is not a clinical position
  • Data collection experience
  • Demonstrated experience working both as part of a team and with minimal supervision
  • Available to work frequent evenings and weekends
  • Available to travel occasionally, as needed
Compensation:Salary: DOE, Pro-rated benefits - paid holiday, vacation, health & dental insurance
