Job Title:Assessment Coordinator

Location:Coronado, CA
Description:The Assessment Coordinator leads onsite assessments for program participants. The primary responsibilities include coordinating the timely administration of assessments according to protocol, data analysis and report writing. This person will report to the Program Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on-site assessment and data collection efforts
  • Ensures that assessments are completed and reports are compiled on time
  • Clearly and accurately explain assessment process and security measures to participants
  • Administer assessments according to protocol
  • Follow all data security measures to protect participants’ confidentiality
  • Compile data for reports
  • Assist in the management, import and cleaning of data
  • Assist in data analysis
  • Support report writing and creation of graphs and tables
Requirements:An ambitious, high-energy person who enjoys a fast-paced team environment laced with challenges and opportunities. Strong organizational skills, adept communications skills, ability to work independently, resourcefulness to challenges, and attention to details are a must.

  • Understanding of the unique needs of military members and their families, required
  • Masters degree in psychology, social science or related field preferred
  • At least 3 years experience in a business setting (non-classroom)
  • Experience collecting self-report, behavioral observation, biological, and psycho-physiological data
  • Ability to work independently as well as strong problem solving, organizational, communication, quantitative/qualitative, and research skills
  • Adept in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must demonstrate experience in SPSS (PASW), Access, Excel
  • A familiarity with behavioral and psycho-physiological data collection and with research literature related to couples, parents, and children preferred
  • Able to quickly adapt to changes in project timelines, deliverables
  • Ability to maintain utmost confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Occasional travel required
