| Description: | Local San Diego North County Outpatient Clinic seeks Clinic Manager who will provide oversight and management of large, Family Medicine Clinic; direct and supervise daily clinic operations including patient flow and program maintenance; ensure adequate coverage and mix of providers and support staff for excellent service delivery; participate in Re-engineering efforts; ensure compliance with all licensing and regulations.
Period of employment:
August 2009 - December 2009. Depending upon funding provided for the new fiscal year (begins Oct 2009), continued employment from Jan 2010 - June 2010 may be possible.

| Requirements: | Minimum Requirements
- 5 years management experience in a medical clinic or other healthcare setting.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge in all aspects of medical clinic operations and duties of associated staff including reception, appointments, medical records, medical assistant, case management and referrals.
- Knowledge of public insurance programs.
- Computer knowledge and proficiency with EMR, Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Valid CDL, reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance.
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- RN/LVN education/training.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal, written & verbal communications, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with people of all social and ethnic backgrounds and within the constraints of government-funded programs.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, stoop, and lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
