Description:	CEO search, Cilin Hospital, in CiXi,one of the wealthiest cities in China, just south of Shanghai. Cilin Hospital is a joint venture between the Chinese government and China Healthcare Corporation, which is backed by the Frist Family (founders of HCA Corporation, the largest hospital corporation in the U.S.). Upon completion of construction of this 500-bed hospital, this will be the first US joint-ventured hospital in China to serve both public and private pay populations. This unique joint venture has gained international recognition from the highest levels of government in the US and China, as well as from the foremost leaders in the investment community. Capitalizing on the window that has been opened for healthcare privatization in China, this CEO will have an immense impact on healthcare reform in China by introducing improved clinical care and operations processes.
Requirements:	For this role, we seek a US-trained hospital administrator (or one deeply familiar with Western hospital operations) with experience leading a complex, multi-faceted, acute care hospital; fluency in both English and Mandarin is also a highly desired criteria. However, given the rarity of this unique combination of criteria, we are open to exploring alternate options to meet the bilingual criteria, whether a translator or adding a bilingual executive to the administrative team as it is built.
