EPI-SOAR Consulting, Inc. is looking for a project manager to work on-site at the Naval Health Research Center in San Diego. The project manager will be responsible for management and administration of a long-term prospective cohort study that will measure quality of life outcomes in injured military personnel after deployment to the Global War on Terror.
The candidate will have major administrative and project responsibility within the Department of Medical Modeling and Simulation at NHRC in the area of project planning, development and management. The Project Manager will coordinate day-to-day project activities and submit timely and complete project status reports and other project deliverables. With general direction and oversight provided by the Project Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of project resources and project goals and objectives. This includes management and oversight of survey scheduling and coordination and management of project staff. The Project Manager is expected to participate in staff and collaborative meetings, make contributions toward presentations and reports, research, document and analyze results, compile data, write technical reports, and assist with manuscript preparation. |
| Requirements: | Possession of a bachelor's degree with 10 years experience.
Desired skills: Masters or Ph.D. in public health, epidemiology or biostatistics preferred concentrations. Survey design and research experience, including interviewing subjects.
Experience with SAS, SPSS, Excel and Access, database building, management and tracking. |
