Biography:

I'm a native Californian with hobbies ranging from writing, music and crafts to horseback riding and camping. I have three grown children and, at latest count, five grandchildren. Household "critters" include two Labradors, two African Grey parrots, one cat (also known as His Highness), one tortoise and one horse. I've been with the CSU system for 9 1/2 years, starting at SDSU in 1997 and transferring to San Francisco State and then to the Concord campus of CSU East Bay. I returned home to SDSU in 2005, where I joined the Graduate School of Public Health.
