The School of Public rose in its US news and world report rankings to 23 out of 177 CEPH accredited and ranked Public Health Schools and programs. The rise in rankings reflects the “school’s transformative research portfolio, one that rivals many of the UCs, outstanding graduates that promote public health locally and nationally, and strong community collaborations including with the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, all while leveraging our location in San Diego to train diverse students and impact health disparities in our own region.” said Hala Madanat, Director of the SPH.
The School rose from its previous spot of 39 to now be in the top 25 in the US and top 3 in California.
