In March 2018, global health JDP students (Marissa Salazar & Brittnie Bloom) and one health behavior JDP student (Ruvani Fonseka) hosted a pre-conference satellite session at the annual meeting for the Consortium of Universities in Global Health in New York City.
Together, with Dr. Elizabeth Reed, the co-director of the Global Health SDSU-UCSD joint doctoral program, students presented a session on cyber sexual violence.
The session included students’ research on the topic area, as well as a discussion using vignettes involving hypothetical examples of how cyber sexual violence occurs across varied global contexts.
The research is presented here in the Global Health JDP Newsletter.
