Adobe Creative Cloud

Current SDSU students are eligible to use Adobe Creative Cloud applications with a valid SDSUid. Simply sign in with your SDSUid and password to license your account. If you are already signed in to an Adobe CC product, you will need to sign out and sign back in with your SDSUid and password to provision the new license. Google Workspace for Students

San Diego State has partnered with Google to provide free Google Workspace accounts to all current students.

Google Workspace for Education is an online cloud storage and collaboration tool that provides users the ability to create, share and collaborate using the Google Workspace. Applications include Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Meet, and more.

Simply go to gmail.sdsu.edu and you will be redirected to the Microsoft portal to login with your SDSUid. (Note: If you have already logged in to an application using Single Sign-On (SSO), you may not need to re-enter your SDSUid and password.)

Microsoft 365

Office 365 is licensed for use on up to 5 computers. Log into portal.office.com with your SDSUid credentials, and click on the button labeled "Install Office" to begin the download. For printable guides with useful tips, shortcuts, and screenshots, visit the Office Quick Start.

Other Microsoft Applications

SDSU students are eligible to install other Microsoft software applications like Project Professional, Visio Professional, Visual Studio Enterprise, Windows 10, SQL Server 2019 Developer, and more with their SDSUid. To start, sign in with your SDSUid at Microsoft's Azure Dev Tools for Teaching page. If you haven’t already, you will be prompted to create a Microsoft Azure account. After you have created your Azure account, look for the “Software” link under “Learning resources” for the full list of available software titles.

SPSS

IBM SPSS is licensed for SDSU student, faculty, and staff use on SDSU computers, Foundation computers, or a personal computer. This software is for individual use only and not to be shared.

SAS

SAS is licensed for SDSU student, faculty, and staff use on SDSU computers, Foundation computers, or a personal computer. This software is for individual use only and not to be shared.

Other Software Packages

Students may download ArcGIS, EndNote, Matlab, NVivo, and X-Win32, with valid SDSUid credentials.

Faculty may download Matlab and X-Win32 with SDSUid credentials.

Faculty and staff may request software (Adobe, EndNote, NVivo, Zoom, etc.) from the IT Software Request Form in ServiceNow using their SDSUid credentials.
