Cigarette Smokers!You may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study of filtered and unfiltered cigarettes that is being conducted by California State University, San Marcos, and San Diego State University if you: (1) Are 21-65 years old, and (2) Have been smoking cigarettes for at least 1 year, and (3) Have smoked Camel or Pall Mall brand filtered cigarettes for at least two weeks prior to the study, or you are willing to do so, and (4) Are fluent in English This study involves smoking study-provided Camel or Pall Mall filtered and unfiltered cigarettes through a handheld machine that measures puffing. This is not a smoking cessation study. Eligible participant may receive up to $695.00 by the end of the nine-week study through participation in all research activities, including attendance at study visits, use of the handheld machine that measures puffing, and collection of cigarette butts. |
