CEPH Accreditation

All SDSU School of Public Health (SPH) Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The School has been fully and continuously accredited by CEPH since 1982. The School was recently reaccredited by CEPH in 2023 for another 7 years (through 2030).

CEPH is an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to accredit schools of public health and public health programs. CEPH accreditation ensures a quality curriculum and a state-of-the art education. By attending an accredited school or program of public health, students benefit from the broad range of educational and experiential opportunities.
