Dr. McDaniels-Davidson is the Director of the Institute for Public Health (IPH) at San Diego State University and holds and adjunct faculty and lecturer positions at the School of Public Health, San Diego State University. As the Director of the IPH, Dr. McDaniels-Davidson oversees a staff of Research Scientists, Health Writers, and Public Health Professionals that engage in grants and contracts with community-based and governmental agencies in and around California. She represents SDSU as the co-Lead for Community Outreach and Engagement for UCSD Moores Cancer Center, Academic-Community Liaison for the Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute, and Research and Evaluation Director for the Indian Health Council’s Native American Research Center on Health. In addition, the IPH has service and research agreements in place with organizations such as the County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency, the Hospital Association of San Diego & Imperial Counties, Family Health Centers of San Diego, and theClearity Foundation, among others.
