Stephen J. Williams (emeritus: 2014), an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon, MIT, and Harvard, co-founded the SDSU School of Public Health, founded its health care management program, and served as Assoc. Dean of the SDSU College of Health and Human Services. He is the author of 28 trade books and ~100 academic articles and was principal investigator on over $2.5M of grants/contracts. His work with the US Navy included providing an on-base master’s program. He has been series editor for John Wiley and Delmar/Cengage. Awards include a citation from the California State Assembly, the first College faculty Monty, and an Honorary Naval Aviator, complementing previous experience on a US Navy nuclear submarine.
