Mar 19The American Association of Colleges of Nursing(AACN) awarded Dr. Greiner the 2020 AACN Advocate of the Year Award. This award is granted annually to one distinguished member whose advocacy over the past year has promoted academic nursing’s priorities in the federal sphere. Dr. Greiner is being recognized for his leadership in strengthening the federal investment in nursing education, research, and practice.

In Memoriam: Dr. Dorothy Zirkle
Feb 16The San Diego State University, College of Health and Human Services, and the School of Nursing mourn the recent loss of Dr. Dorothy Zirkle. Dr. Zirkle served as an Instructor for the past eight years. During that time, she served as the concentration chair for the Nursing Leadership in Health Care Systems Master’s program, taught in the RN to BSN program, and led several foreign exchange programs with partner nursing programs in Switzerland.
