About Michael Reece
Michael Reece is Professor and Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Studies in the School of Public Health at Indiana University. He holds an MPH degree from the Graduate School of Public Health at San Diego State University (1995), a PhD in Health Behavior from the University of Georgia, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in community-based participatory research at the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. Over the past two decades Michael has played leadership roles in community-based, governmental, and academic settings in areas related to sexual health and public health workforce development. He has published extensively on topics related to the surveillance of sexual behavior and other sexual health determinants. At Indiana University he served as the founding director of the Center for Sexual Health Promotion, and most recently served as President of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality and President of the North American Federation of Sexuality Organizations.
