The school’s online Master of Public Health program in Health Promotion and Behavioral Science was recently recognized as one of the best online MPH programs in the nation by BestColleges.com. The rankings were determined using statistical data and guiding principles, including academic quality, affordability, and online competency.
The program’s 51-credit curriculum concentrates on health promotion and behavioral sciences. Coursework includes studies in health promotion program planning and assessment and motivating health behavior. All students complete a required field practice course and two capstone experiences. Students complete eight sessions — each lasting eight weeks — of two courses, a sequence which allows students to earn their degrees within 20 months.
