Julian Navarrete (B.S. Biology, ’20), a student conducting research with Dr. Kari Sant (Assistant Professor, Environmental Health), presented his research on February 7 to the Doris A. Howell Foundation in La Jolla. Navarrete was selected as a 2020 Howell-CSUPERB Research Scholar, a fellowship to provide support for students to pursue research in women’s health disciplines. His work investigates how a novel environmental contaminant, TCPMOH, impacts embryonic development and may ultimately lead to adverse reproductive outcomes.
