Biography
After graduating from SDSU some 30 years ago, I was hired by San Diego County, Department of Environmental Health. I spent the next fifteen years working in most environmental health divisions including, food and housing, hazardous waste, emergency chemical response, site assessment and mitigation, solid waste enforcement, and underground storage tank removal and installation. I was as an inspector, supervisor, and division chief. After my time with the County, I’ve managed a solid waste transfer station, consulted with a local household hazardous waste facility, and worked as a church and school administrator. I’ve been teaching at SDSU, for the past 20 years as a lecturer.
