Project Description
- Spend two weeks understanding the public health and sustainability approaches in India and the effects of environmental pollution by taking hands-on field air and noise pollution measurements in India while immersing yourself into exotic India’s sceneries, culture, and cuisine. You’ll be exposed to a fast-growing Asian economy and its struggles addressing environmental sustainability. This winter program is hosted by XIM University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Program highlights include travel to India’s capital, Delhi and the famous Taj Mahal in Agra, field trips to cultural and community activities of interest, visits to beautiful temples and other touristic attractions, as well as, yoga sessions and a native cultural program. While in India, besides pollution measurements and field trips, students will learn about Indian culture, cuisine, and its environment in a fun and engaging manner
