The Graduate School of Public Health (GSPH) at San Diego State University was founded in 1980 as part of the university's focus on health and human services.
One of four nationally accredited schools of public health in California, the GSPH provides opportunities for education, research, and community involvement to improve the population's health.
The GSPH enjoys special collaborative arrangements with the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency, and other local, regional, and national health organizations.
