NOTE: All program and graduation requirements change periodically. Students may have to modify some of the courses to match their specific program requirements.
Requirements for each degree are found in the SDSU Catalog under Public Health. MPH and MS students should contact the Graduate Advisor directly with questions about their degree requirements. If an unusual adjustment to the degree requirement is warranted, it must be requested by the Graduate Advisor. Email the Graduate Advisor for the MPH and MS degrees in the School of Public Health at PHGradAdvisor@sdsu.edu
The Degree Evaluation (also called the Degree Audit report) is a resource for students and advisors to track requirements for graduation. The report includes Program of Study, GPA and advancement to candidacy requirements.
Instructions on how to access and interpret the Degree evaluation:
Instructions for the Degree Evaluation are found in Graduate Studies under Degree Completion.
The Program of Study appears on the Degree Evaluation. This is a list of courses require for graduation.
Students should run a degree audit at the end of the first semester, when grades are posted, and before the beginning and at the end of each semester thereafter.

These students should submit an official Program of Study (POS) Form after completing 12 units at the SPH, attaining classified status, and consulting with their academic advisor. Before filling out the form, please check the Degree Evaluation tab to see if it is set up for these degrees.
